Bonus points to anyone who can figure out which team the FIRST t-shirt I'm wearing came from. It is retro.

John would it happen to be team 19, Big Red Robotics shirt you are wearing?

No fair you chump!. That question was for people who DONT own their own copy of that shirt, and haven't seen me wear mine!
It is indeed a 2001 shirt from team 19. At the first ever FIRST regional I went to, we partnered with team 19, and team 375 (then a wide-eyed rookie team, now a NY powerhouse). This alliance earned a Silver Medal.
The next year I was given this team 19 shirt by some friends on the team. This was the first ever team shirt I was given (besides my own team).
Random facts for ya.

That robot would be pretty good next year since it's going to be a water game. You could just float ABOVE the water and not have to deal with all that. Although, you're going to have some trouble with the submarine autonomous mode.

Looks suspiciously like a Soviet Kirkov Airship from Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 if you ask me. :p

I especially like JV's creative mixing of German and US conventions for projection views, and his choice of drill motors to power the airship's drive units.
Not sure what KOP items might have been (legally) used as bombs... (?)

Which wasn't on the new photo, and oddly enough if you short cut the system (as I did) and put in just "JVN" it adds JVN instead...
Must be nice to be famous enough to have custom codes in CD Media to deal with your pics. LOL
