Is anyone planning on attending the ROBO Business Conference and Expo (http://www.robobusiness2006.com/index.html)?
Are any FIRST teams going to be in attendance?
I am wondering if it would be a good place to go.

The Robo-Business Conference was hosted in Boston last year. People from FIRST HQ, Boston FIRST, and some FIRST alumni who currently work for robotics companies attended the conference.
I found that the Robo-Business Conference is a good place to network, discover suppliers in the areas of software and navigation, and spin off new ideas for possible products. Workshops included: marketing, navigation, keynotes, company pitches, and upcoming technologies.
I'd really like to attend it again this year. My brain was swarming with ideas by the end of the day.
Don't forget about IMTS (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=47116)

They actually had some pretty interesting people speaking. There was one person from PC Magazine talking about the lack of robotic toys. Joseph Engelburger talked about medical robots and showed a movie of him and Johnny Carson (Don't know if it's the right person) and the first successful industrial robot. There were a lot of speakers from iRobot. Cynthia Brezeal talked about sociable robots.
Will there be any big names there (i.e. Fanuc, Motoman, Adept, Staubli, etc.) or just the hobbyist stuff?
