Here is episode 2 of n.e.r.d. vision! Taped live at Battle Cry @ WPI! Its a bit crazy, but it was fun to tape. Sorry for almost no graphics, I just got a new MacBook a few days ago and I am still trying to get my bearings in Final Cut!
The Large MPEG is worth the download! The quality looks great!

The iPod version is smaller, and plays fine in the latest version of Quicktime.

That is the version I'm downloading, but I've never really considered a 100MB+ video file small.
we could put a smaller file up, but it starts to become un-watchable

I downloaded the 300mb version twice, and neither copy opens in any of my video players. The audio plays fine, but not the video. VirtualDub balks that it can't detect the file type if I try to import it.

you might need to download a new codec...or its broken

I downloaded the large version and quicktime loaded it with no problem, good job you guys!

Make sure you have the latest version of Quicktime, that will do it for ya

By the way folks- I just updated the large mpeg version with some new graphics... I finally am starting to figure out Final Cut and Live Type!

I think that the only way we could really describe this latest episode of NERD Vision is complete and utter chaos. But...thats kinda how we like it! I think once we are a little less rushed and we can settle down without so much distraction, alot more substance will come out of the vid-cast as opposed to pure unadultrated insanity. Of course...we are still learning...and at least its entertaining!

For now, you can get an "unofficial", low quality copy from http://users.wpi.edu/~brian/bc7 (you have to grab the whole opening or closing ceremony, depending on which one you want). I should be getting a higher quality version up sometime this week, and eventually it will be on the official Battlecry website.

Maybe im just stupid (and feel free to let me know) and computer illiterate but I can get the darn second video to play. Tried installing a .mp4 player on my toshiba tablet. Nada. Then I tried a brand new macG5 with quicktime 7.1.2. Once again no good. How bout a good old windows media file for us less nerdier nerds!

Thats very weird, I tried downloading and playing the file and it worked fine. It should have played perfectly out of the box on the mac G5. Try re-downloading the file if you can.
