Some one on the RPI forum found out, how did every one do?

5 on Calc ab
3 on Chem

The cost is $8 if you don't want to use your ssn then you can use your ap number if you have it somewhere.

You have to pay to get the scores of a test you are forced to take?

Talk about a monopoly. I want in on this scheme.

Not all schools force you to take the AP exam for the AP class you are in

Elgin, that $8 is a lot cheaper then a semester of calculus at any college I've ever heard of.

AP tests are voluntary (unless your school makes you take them, I suppose), and the scores are free if you wait for them to mail them out.

Wow, is my school weird in not forcing the tests upon us?

I'll wait for them to come in the mail.

We are forced to take the AP tests if we take the class but we don't have to pay for the tests (our school caters to underpriveleged students). So i figured, relief > suspense. For 8 dollars after a whole year of work? sure. Plus, it's divided over all the APs I take.

You're a lucky one, Neha. We are forced to take the AP test for each class we are in AND pay $85 per exam. Like Wetzel said, though, they have enormous moneysaving potential.

I actually feel good about the US History exam. I studied every minute for the entire week before the exam and it was worth all of it (Princeton Review; you saved me). However, I am really glad it is over and I can now focus of more important things, like ChiefDelphi and summer robotics projects. :D

It is money saving though. I just knocked out 5 classes, so technically I'm a semester ahead. Our school didn't force us, but i think if you are taking an AP class, you should be prepared for an AP exam too. I didn't have to pay for AP exam, but if i had too i would not hesitate, because i still save bunch of money and most importantly "TIME".

Yea... but most still charge around $80 to take it...

The test score is relative to this year's test, so if everyone bombed the essays, that explains it :D

I didn't do as well as I had hoped I did/would...
3 on English Language and Comp.
4 on European History

Last year I got a 4 on US History

a bit off topic...but....anyone else take IBs? I got a 5 on the Comp Sci exam. I was pretty psyched, since I was expecting like a 3

I remember my Euro exam...actually I'd rather not. Bad experience. Especially since we were talking about the French Rev for 3 months....and there was exactly one question on it. :D

Calculus AB: 5
Physics C Mechanics: 4

Computer Science AB: 3 - Not bad considering that I studied for a total time of about 3 hours for the whole exam and I have a limited amount of Java knowledge. There was still plenty of room for improvement though. When I was a junior I got a 4 on CS A, but that was with actually taking the course.

Calculus BC: 2 - I totally blew this one off. That was the most difficult exam that I have ever taken and probably shouldn't have as there was no BC level course at my high school.

I've been given credit for Computer Science I, so that's one less course that I'll need to take for my major. Yay for AP exams!

My son John (RobotAddict) just got his scores when we returned from vacation. He got 5's in Calculus AB, Physics C Mechanics, and US History. I'm not sure whether I am relieved or happy.

I got a 5 on Chemistry, but Environmental Science is MIA. I'm worried they lost my test. (My school somehow lost my AP booklet thingy so it was sent in with no numbers)

4 on APUSH
4 on AP Physics B. I am really happy for this one since I didn't study at all because my study time was consumed by studying for APUSH
APES... yeah, too bad I wasted $13 and didn't know what time it was.
