Like the Cannonball jellyfish propelling themselves just beneath the surface of the Carolinian waters, these mechanical dusteaters move slowly and rhythmically seeking their 'prey'. No movement is wasted as these circular wonders move over the carpet drawing attention to their shape, their size, and their mission. All that is needed to make the image complete is water.

The multiple Roomba vacuum system attempts to sweep as much as NASA scrubs.

<not an entry> Totally meant as a joke, I highly agree with strict weather rules for scrubs as they are necessary for shuttle safety. </not an entry>

In the shadowy recesses of the arena, Jenny Beatty fixes her steely gaze upon the playing field as she carefully plots her revenge against the vacuum bots....

"Take my job (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/photos/25006) away from me, will they!" Jenny mutters as she loads her 12-gauge pump action. "Well, it's time for a little robotic skeet shooting. NO ONE MESSES WITH ROBO MOM!!!!! PULL!!!"

*In nature special narrator voice* "Here we see "born to be wild" roombas in their natural habitat.
Unlike regular roombas, these roombas are the offspring of others that escaped their households, and were not made in a factory.
This is why they are "born to be wild", because the were actually born in the wild."

World's largest air hockey table. But shouldn't there be just one puck?

(yaaaaaaaawns) Sorry about that, long day. Checked out seven campers in twenty minutes, disassembled seven Mindstorms robots, sorted out all the parts, and wrote a letter to boot. (I mean, you've just GOT to have the letter.)

First place, as I couldn't settle on one in at least five minutes, plus the time it takes to start a load of laundry, is a tie:

Roomba #1: "Hey Fred, is everyone ready? Where's Rhonda?"
Roomba #2: "Here she comes... and check out her side brushes... oomph!"
Roomba #1: "Cool it Fred, there's no time for that now..."

Roombas #2 and 3: "FREEDOM!"
Roomba #1: "Then on the count of three, let the Roomba Revolution begin: one... two... three! Go! Go! Go straight! In a straight line, I said! Stop going around in circles! Stop! Arrrrrghhhhhhh!
Roomba #2: "Sorry George."
Roomba #1: "You guys suck! You really, really suck!"
Roombas #2 and 3: "Well of course we do, George, we're vacuums."

Which means a few awards are in order. (All should be construed as paper-plate awards, paper plate not included.)

Year 2 Champion: Travis Hoffman

Year 2 Runner-Up*: Heidi Foster
*In the event that the Champion is unable to fulfill his duties, the runner-up will assume the title. But, uh, The Heidi Foster Rule still applies here.

Most Wins This Year: Travis Hoffman (6)

Most Second Places This Year: Gary Dillard (6)

Most Honorable Mentions This Year: Heidi Foster (35)

The "Always The Bridesmaid" Award*: Brad Cahn (52 points)

Funniest Team: Team 116, Epsilon Delta (253 points combined)
*Alright, folks without teams together scored 516 points by my math, but that doesn't count.

Some other fun statistics that come with having a spreadsheet, for your interest:

I know, I know, but Amanda won that title last year; that set the trend. In a year, that trend will be long gone. ;)
