Two words... Flippin Awesome.
These make any van immediately the most awesome vehicle around. I'm sure Dave would say "That's pimp."
So cool! :ahh:
Did you get to ride in that?!

The only drawback with those is severe on road speed limitation when installed. They've been around for several years now as an alternative for big off roading tires.

Unfortunately i did not get to ride in that since as mentioned before they have a 40 MPH speed limit during use and that they only use them in the winter.

If anyone's ever seen that show on SPIKE Trucks!, they did a segment on a guy that had them. I can't remember if it's $25K each or $25K for the set...that's way too much money either way.
Supposedly they're a bear to take on and off too.

If you're talking about the segment of Trucks! with the Silverado wearing the Mattracks they were $25k for the set. This was back when Stacey David was hosting the show. The prices vary depending on what model of the Mattracks you buy and what vehicle they're going on.
Here's the Mattracks FAQ (http://www.mattracks.com/html/faq.htm)
What I did find interesting though is you can get Mattracks equipped radio controlled vehicles. Like this H2 (http://cgi.ebay.com/Hummer-H2-Featuring-Mattracks_W0QQitemZ270008748414QQihZ017QQcategoryZ 44029QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem). :)

Yea, I saw an R/C pickup like that at Radio Shack.
BTW, 1250 ft/min (speed of the R/C H2) = 14.2 mph (alot faster than I thought it would be).
And yes, I am that much of a geek. :D
I saw a set of these tracks on an ATV, it is absolutely awsome, the things the ATV does when on these tracks is amazing
