View Full Version : Kamen to appear on Iconoclasts
Isabella Rossellini + Dean Kamen will be featured on an upcoming episode of the Sundance Channel's Iconoclasts (Nov. 16 at 9 PM ET/PT, subject to change). Iconoclasts is a different sort of interview program - this should be interesting to watch.

They just taped this about a week ago. They filmed segments at DEKA, FIRST, SEGWAY and dean's house. If you have never seen any of the above it may be worth it just to see those.

So for those of us who don't get the Sundance channel, is there any other distribution for this show? Do they put episodes on their site or anything like that?

But Greg, according to copy right law that would be illegal! We shoud support Sundance by watching the show on their channel or buying it on DVD! That would be the correct and responsible thing to do!

That's exactly what I was asking. NBC and ABC let you stream some of their programs off their websites, commercials and all. I was inquiring if a similar system was available for the Sundance channel. It sounds kind of indie, so it would be a pretty likely candidate for being cool and letting you watch their shows besides on TV.

That is incorrect. Since the Sundance Channel owns the rights to distribute the show, they can do anything they want with it. This includes streaming it on their website, licensing it to others for re-broadcast, or anything else. If they provide any of those options, anyone may most certainly take advantage of them. The issue is that YOU cannot distribute it or give copies to anyone else, because - unlike the Sundance Channel - you do not own the rights to the show. The distinction is important.
And in answer to the original question, check The Sundance Channel web site (http://www.sundancechannel.com/home/). They do stream portions of episodes of The Iconoclasts. So we can all watch the site for the eventual streaming of Dean's episode and see it there.
