when you say that its apart of the robotics summer camp, do you mean that the kids apart of the program built it? or is it some sort of an example that your team uses?

Its sort of an example. Our team built it, and camp is using it to teach kids about Robotics. Its also equip with a RC wireless Camera; so its more fun to play around. e.g. you can sit in one room and have the robot in the other; pick things around and move them, as you've seen in the video.

As an Environmental Engineer, I think a recycling robot is just what we need! Is next years project to get it to sort the trash by paper, plastic and metal?

Gah!, now you just gave Game-Design Committee another idea :ahh:
(I'm still waiting for the water game though  )

Well, I'm pretty sure that Japan has something of that sort, as they recycle more than half of their trash.
