Actually it would be because of his CABLE internet running slow...not his PC.....but i seriously doubt he has those problems....:D

I have a cable link and it's running ust fine.

i use comcast @Home and it somethimes does retarded stuff. like acting slow and disconnecting from the servers

I have media one, actually they got bought out by AT&T so that's who I 've got.

Comcast @Home is $40 a month. i beleve that you guys and kokomo are supposed to get cable modem acess soon. at least thats what i heard from my uncle that lives there

I can already get @Home and its like $30 a month.....i checked into it like 5 months ago and i didnt want to spend my money on it then and there was like a 3 week waiting list....:)

I have Cox @ Home and it is $35 a month, but it was orginally $30 a month. But I also have Cox Cable. Without Cox cable my internet would be $45 a month.

Sometimes if your connections is running like real slow for real long. Just un-plug the cable modem wait a couple of minutes and plug it back in. Works for me a lot.

I'd rather get DSL for the sole purpose of multiplayer gaming.

You can play Multiplayer gaming on Cable. In fact I think that it is easier to play on a cable modem than a DSL. No longing on.

But with cable, to be completely safe, you really need a firewall, and that restricts gameplay a lot. With DSL, you can actually have the Static IP turned off.
