Hello everyone of the FIRST family. This message is for every team who has participated in past FIRST competitions, and/or will participate in the 2007 FIRST competition. Team 842, Falcon Robotics, of Phoenix, Arizona will once again be creating a quilt with every team's t-shirt on it. If your team would like to donate a shirt, so we can add it to our new quilt, please contact our team sponsor, Mr. Fredi Lajvardi. You may reach him at the following address:
coachfredi@hotmail.com Thank you everyone and we look forward to seeing everybody at the upcoming competition. :)
Sounds great I'll see if we have an extra jersey from last year.

As soon as possible, because we would like to have the new quilt made ready to be put on display at the regionals.

As always, this is a really cool idea, and the quilts always look very nice. We will be sure to send along a couple of team shirts. However, are your SURE about the claim that you will be "creating a quilt with every team's t-shirt on it"??? With a targeted 1300 FRC teams this year, and an average shirt size of 16 x 24 inches, that is a total of over 6,900 square feet of quilt! (not including edging and borders). I get the feeling that many of your robot team meetings are going to look like this:

Hey, Thegathering, think we should approach Drake about sending one out? I'm sure one's lying around somewhere.
Question though. Our team has both polos that we wear to look nicer, and t-shirts for the comfy. Which would you want us to send, if we sent one?

I'm sorry for that misunderstanding about every team's shirt on it. I meant to say that we will TRY to have as many teams as possible, to make our quilt. However, we need the team's shirt in order to include them on the quilt. We can only use your team's shirt if you send it to us.Does it make sense? Well, if you don't understand what I am trying to say, you can feel free to contact me back. Thanks.

Wow that sounds great. It would be cool to have a NYC shirt on a quilt in the Midwest. Where should we send the shirt to? Could you send me more info @
m.harris.techengineers@gmail.com. THANKS!!!

Once again thank you to all of the teams that have showed interest in and have supported our project. We've already started receiving some t-shirts and jereys from all over the place, so thank you everyone and if you haven't sent one in, please do so! We would really appreciate that.
@ Team 842 Falcon Robotics : Can you please post a picture of the quilt you guys made? I think I remember you guys from the 2005 Triple Play Nationals in Georgia. You came our pit and asked for a shirt but we didn't have an extra one so we made one of our guys strip right there in the pit to give you a shirt.

There's 3 shirts on there that look like eachother but basic FIRST knowledge tells me they aren't the same. Heh... BOB has the same colored shirts as 2 other teams. I can't tell what teams they are but one is under the number and the other is under the ThunderChicken's t-shirt. Heh. That's awesome guys. Good job.

We are still collecting shirts! You still have time to send them in! Thanks :)
Do you need a MOE 365 shirt? I think we have some old ones around.
Are you looking for t-shirts for this upcoming year, or the past year? We haven't created our team shirts for this upcoming season yet so that is why I ask.

Anything you can send us is fine and we would appreciate it. Thanks :)
Would a bandana work? I think we still have a few extra lying around.

I know this is not exactly on topic, but I remember in our teams like 7th or 8th year a team made a quilt of shirts and it was hung up in the pits at Nationals in Florida.
