I have been poking around the net for a while now trying to find some free grant resources, and have not had any luck.

Anyone got any ideas of how to make the first step of finding out about what grants exist and getting their applications?

4. Grantsnet; check under the 'undergraduate' section for junior-high school and high-school opportunities. (http://www.grantsnet.org/search/srch_specify.cfm)
5. Google (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=grants)

Most of the appliations for these sites are downloadable from their respective pages.
