Why Do you Build Me Up Buttercup? by The Oldies

Dancing songs are nice to have...y'know things like: Cha Cha Slide, Cotton-eyed Joe, Numa Numa, YMCA...y'know that stuff.

I'll second the request for Rush and request specifically Tom Sawyer. :D

As for my requests I'd like to hear some Korn, and some Flyleaf, and some 10 Years. Can you guess what concert tour I went to over this summer? lol

Then some Crossfade, Breaking Benjamin, Cold, Godsmack, and other good kick butt rock as well as some U2, Bush, Oasis, AC/DC and some Tom Petty to round out the whole rock portion.

Hellogoodbye, Depeche Mode, Sandstorm, Ian van Dahl, should cover the Techno/Dance portion with some DDR music included as well.

In the music that rocks but deserves a separate category, Add some Blue Man Group to that mix. Music off of The Complex is pretty cool.

As for the classics, Take On Me by A-ha (or even Reel Big Fish), The Grease Megamix, The Time Warp, Cotton Eye Joe definitely, Electric Slide, Hot Hot Hot, Mr. Roboto, and last but not least The Twist.

And to add to Bharat's request; Dope's version of You Spin Me Right Round too.

I should find out if I'm even going to BE first before I make my requests shouldn't I?

Oh well.

:p

Possibly "Supermassive Black Hole"- Muse.

Also, "Miami 2017 (I've Seen the Lights Go Out On Broadway)", "We Didn't Start the Fire", "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me"- Billy Joel. Pretty much any Billy Joel song that's rock (can you tell I love Billy Joel?)

See you at the Eruption!

I know this is a bit late, but here goes:
Disclaimers:
I tried to pick by what's best for a FIRST comp, so loud, good beat, enthusiastic, but I'm sure I've failed somewhere.
This doesn't represent my musical taste as a whole, just some of it.
I'm sure I've left something out. I purposely dropped MSI because I wasn't sure if they were appopriate, but if you're a fan, have the clean version, and want to play it, I'm all for it.

Techno/Dance/Trance/Electronic:
VNV Nation-Chrome, Further
Icon of Coil-Dead Enough for Life
SANDSTORM
Oakenfold-Ready Steady Go
Daft Punk-Technologic, One More Time, Harder Better Faster Stronger
Cascada-Every Time We Touch
John Larkin-Scatman

FIRST classics:
The ChaCha Slide
Jump on It

Generally good music:
Ween-Fancy Pants (hard to find, but freely downloadable from myspace.com/weeninfl)
Weird Al-Hardware Store, White and Nerdy
Smash Mouth-All Star, Come On Come On
Barenaked Ladies-One Week
Billy Joel-We Didn't Start the Fire, Miami, 2017
Boston-More than a Feeling
Goldfinger-Bittersweet Symphony (or the techno remix)
The Who-Won't get Fooled Again, Who are You, Baba O'Riley
Queen-Bohemian Rhapsody

Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water
Steppenwolf - Born to be wild
John Lennon - Imagine

A good catchy song to play would be "Ultimate Showdown (of Ultimate Destiny)" by...well, I don't know who that is by, but its a good song to play if you should happen to come across/have it!

I know for a fact White And Nerdy was played... twice or even three times. Not sure about the other song.

I was sad there was no Cha-Cha Slide :(
