Our team is getting ready to move into our new workspace this weekend, and I'm donating an old Windows 98 computer to post updates to the website, compile code, etc. However, I haven't been able to find a good firewall that works on Windows 98. I hear old versions of Zone Alarm were compatible, but I can't find any old installers. I have also tried Jetico Personal Firewall, but that hung the computer. Does anyone have any other recommendations?

Why not put a good desktop linux distro on it? What are the computer specs?

Thanks Tom! I'll take a look at that later today.

Sanddrag: It has a PIII processor running at 733mHz, 256MB RAM or so, and a 20GB hard drive. I had considered loading Linux on it, but that probably wouldn't fly with our team, because our Webmaster works exclusively in Dreamweaver and most of the programming tools we use for the robot are Windows-only.

That's a decent computer. Do you have any college students on your team? Often college students can buy Windows XP for <$100 through their university.

We may end up upgrading it to XP sometime in the future, so I'll keep that in mind. That will mainly depend on whether other programs require XP, and which computer we'll be running them on.
