Duel was plain awesome. Thanks to Kyle for the couch usage, all the MOE and Lunatecs folks for organizing the event, 25 for having a non-functioning camera (as I was frequently doing goal-poking duties on the other end of the field from them), and all the teams for putting on a grade-A heck of a show.

What about thanking MOE for giving you something to do when they were filling up your goal? :p And giving you something to count in auton?
Haha, but anyway, can't argue with the rest of it. The event was great, and I'm glad that the Duel happened to be my first offseason event ever.

What a fantastic event and one of the best times I've had in FIRST. I am posting just to let everyone know I made it home safe, but expect future posts and pictures about this past weekend coming up soon.

Nononono - The $3 admission fee is to get out of New Jersey... My college buddies and I joke that Jersey is so backwards they make you pay to leave.

Only $3? How did you get around the other toll?
This is a true statement: On my last 10 out of 10 visits through Delaware, I have had the "pleasure" :( of at least a 15-30 minute delay due to something that was not an accident. Most recently was on the Delaware Memorial Bridge, after having a nice dinner with some nice folks who attended/volunteered at Duel, I sat ON the bridge for 45 minutes. In traffic. One lane open.
Miss Delaware is really nice. The road/tolls in DE are not.

You're so welcome, BB. You're welcome here anytime you want (as my mother kept saying over and over all weekend).
I'm so happy you came. It was awesome to see you and spend time with you again!
And thanks to everyone that put DotD together for another amazing year. I enjoyed the VEX competition, that was new. My cousins I brought along loved it. They're my future FIRSTers!
Miss Jenny & Miss Judy, it was awesome to see you two again. I enjoyed the NEMO discussion, for the little time I spent in it. Can't wait to see you two again soon!

Be glad that they didn't close the state (http://www.hasl-kelchner.com/ch6.shtml)! It is a small state, and they have to be careful not to exceed their rated capacity, you know!

Don't mean to hijack this thread but that was a great link.
Back to the thanks....
DOD is always fun, and well run (and they have great food for the vols). I met, as always, nice folks in the NEMO workshop.
And that last match was fun to watch and was a fine example of GP.
