I made a bot for #firstrobotics (irc://irc.freenode.net/#firstrobotics) named "bot1st".
He's a supybot (http://supybot.com/) and using a number of standard plugins.
Here's a list of custom commands:
!lol - makes bot lol
!cdq - show a CD spotlight
!spotlight - same
!misnick - express dislike of a nick
!raptors
WARNING: When bot is op, bot is armed.
