I was just checking out the forum index, and I saw that, as of today, the Chief Delphi Forums have over half a million posts!

Congrats to the forum and all its members, and a big thank you to Brandon Martus for the great job he does keeping the site running.

One thing you might also want to take note of:
250,000 posts in tad bit over 2 years!

Taken from
250,000 posts (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?p=250000#post250000)

Even still, .5 million posts is a major accomplishment
*Raises arms to form a V over head* here is to 500,000 more

ha ha ha.. me ftw! LOL

Until I saw this I was a bit confused as to what John Boucher and others who surf CD from my team were talking about on Friday night.

So... that explains their further statement of if I have 5000+ posts, then I am responsible for 1% of all posts here or something like that..
I'm only semi-paraphrasing here.
What percentage of 500,000 is 5000? is it 1?
idk.
I suck at math.

Dang.
I hope everything I've said on here was relatively intelligent.
Or.. funny at least. :p

Can I make a request to get my name added to the dictionary so I don't have to keep hitting skip all the time now I have been blessed with the lucky 500,000th post?

I suppose we can add Elgin to the dictionary, since you've got 1% of the posts.

The 50,000th thread on ChiefDelphi (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50000).
You're looking at the threadid and not the actual # of threads. Some get deleted and/or hidden, so the actual real # of threads is 41000 some...
