[OCCRA]: This year's game

OK, so I'm curious, what does everybody think of the game this year compared to previous years? I really like the game, because we had SO many options on strategy, we didn't all have to do the same thing, BUT, i think every year they should switch between cones, triangles, balls, whatever, rotate once in a while and stuff, because i think a lot of teams used many previous ideas from the year before, and did not really invent anything NEW. thats my 2 cents!

I agree with you there. My favorite game since I became involved with OCCRA was the one with the tubies from 04, becuase that was such a unique gamepiece that all teams really had to invent a creative way to deal with them, and I would love to see something like that again in OCCRA: balls get tiresome after a while. I really do like the variety offered in this years game. It give teams many options and makes for some very interesting matches.

I am stuck on last year's game and this year's game. I am leaning on this year's game, simply because it is so exciting and there are many ways to score and change the game. It also requires you strategizing with your partners to get the job done, something we do alot. The Tubie was unique but that game was kind of boring. Last year you had the hanging, it was an exciting game. This year you have the teeter totter, mobile goal, no score zone, and the ramp. This year is the most exciting game in my opinion. :)

I'm liking this years game a lot better. For those who were around last year you would remember that the only really actiony part was the battle for the bar to hang. I like this years game because insted of just all offence we are seeing very powerful defencive stratagies. In short I like this game because there are many more stratigies that teams can use varing on the matches.

i DO really really like this year's game there are SO many different options as to how to go about the game and stuff, it's much more exciting, but I think next year they should use something other than the playground balls!..just a thought

Yeah Balls aren't the most challenging game piece, but they did make them 4 different sizes, and not one. :)
