We are thinking of making a blanket of all of the first teams. We were going to be sewing squares of every team on there in order(all 1165 teams). We will give you further notice on what we are going to do with it but we are planning on selling/auctioning it off for charity money.

How many of you would actually want to purchase this so we know we can get a good amount of money for the charity we decide to donate to?

I would definitely buy it, but I highly doubt I'd be able to pay anything NEAR what it's worth.

I was just looking at the teams from FIRST and i realized it doesnt have all of the teams. I went on First wiki and got some teams that they did not have.
the first one i found was team 19. I will post the list of teams i have soon and i would appreciate it if anyone could check it for me for errors.

And about the price, we would probably have a silent auction at all of the regionals we go to and nationals (if we make it). I will post more info as we continue to put it together.

I would buy it. Would it be like the one from the IRI? I know that one went for a lot and it was pretty cool. :)

Are you using the short name or the nickname?

Lots of the teams on your list don't exist anymore.

233 is now known as The Pink Team (a conflict with another local team with a similar name)

thanks

Team 1712 (Dawgma) is also missing from the list. I just added it to the FIRStwiki index.

Thanks guys, i really appreciate it.
Any more mistakes would be great, if i could finalize the first 500 teams so we can get started it would be great.

We were thinking of having the number sew'd in the square and an image put on there, but were not sure because if we put the team name on there we would have to make the squares bigger..and its already going to be HUGE.

any ideas/comments/suggestions would be appreciated aswell

The list now goes all the way up to 2201 or 2205. Check the official team list. With lots of teams still to register for both the Tel Aviv and Porto Allegre regionals, I'm sure the number will increase dramatically.

And speaking of "dead" teams===don't think that just because they aren't playing this year that they're done. I'm pretty sure that many teams are just reorganizing and trying to put together funds to get back going again because their projects may have bankrupted them.

If a team is folding its operations for good, then it should explain (like 30 did), but otherwise it should be assumed not playing this year and getting ready for next year. You never know.
