Have you ever wondered how a swerve drive works? How to efficiently wire your electrical system? How to construct a robust pnuematic system? Or how to use a running filter to de-noise the input of the CMUCam for your PID closed-loop control system to aim a three axes of freedom turreted shooter during autonomous mode?

Don't worry. (http://www.thebluealliance.net)

Interesting... The Coming soon page looks very professional.

Is this going to be a white paper site?

Maybe a FIRST Howstuffworks?

I am intrigued.

That logo looks awesome. :p

Okay, I'll admit it. I created the logo for Greg.

Once you get (http://www.connvex.org/) the hang (http://team228.org/images/wallpaper/fuego-1600px.jpg) of vector (http://team228.org/images/wallpaper/wrenches-1600px.jpg) graphics, they become quite fun (http://www.team228.org/images/wallpaper/deep-blue-1600px.jpg). If you liked this logo, just wait until I'm finished with the 2007 version of Team 228's website. :D

Just a simple electrical circuit?

probably to show how to wire it neatly and such?

Greg and Tom aren't very cool. I wouldn't get my hopes up for cool things...
:p ;)

Looks like you guys have a great series coming along.

If i am not mistaken the electrical circuit that is out on the table is the bobcats 2006 operator switch panel, judging from the four rocker switches and what looks like the easy button built into the control board. Correct me if i am wrong thats just my guess from looking at it.

who ever is the camera man is needs to learn how to use a tripod. one more thought comes to mind with this video, headroom. there is either to much or to little. pretty cool so far

I'd love to see what Tom makes if you leave him alone with the camera.

Sometimes the simplest circuits do the coolest things.

The homepage looks fantastic. I like the design and what would be spectacular is if you had an interesting flash intro, and than it would be awesome.

2 weeks w00t (again) :)

and give the cameraman some credit. This part was completely ad-libbed and was kinda random and I like the high camera angle.

It feels like ....the screensavers, way back in the early days before they got good bands to do their introduction. Well it's either the Screensavers or Home Improvement.

Well, as a fall back they will all be on some sort of video sharing site, so you ought to always be able to watch them there.

To distract you all from dave:

What does an easy button, bawls, and a nerd have in common? Can anyone figure it out before they tell us?

That Tom and Greg are leet.

I've just completed the final touches of the full up web page, and boy is it snazzy. Who knows, the page might even go up a few days before the first episode is scheduled to launch...

Also, compressing video is the worst thing ever invented when you don't have access to the right tools. If anyone wants to get me a Mac with Final Cut Pro on it for Christmas, I'd be eternally grateful :p

What? You can't transcode with VLC? :p

Seriously, I'm excited for this. I'm just hoping there's something in there I don't already know.

There might be in a few months when we delve deeper into the controls.
For now, it is just basic electronics.. Something to get teams with little engineering resources off the ground.
