Wetzel pointed this out in the new website thread (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=50271), but FIRST's site now features a FIRST Community & Alumni Network (http://www.usfirst.org/community/frc/content.aspx?id=712) that people can sign up for.
FIRST has many benefits to offer the FIRST Community. As long as you provide us with updated contact information, we can send you information about:
college scholarships
events happening in your area
FIRST news
internship and career opportunities
and so much more.
It's about more than robots. FIRST wants to know who you are and how the FIRST experience has impacted you. This information will allow us to improve our programs and services to you as well as prove to the world that FIRST works.
Looks pretty cool, and I'm going to check it out more once FIRST's site speeds up.
