Hmmm, I didnt even think about that. And if the rumors about multi color tracking with the CMUCam this year are true, I can use the blue cold cathode after the season. The thing is i cant find any cathodes short enough to fit in the bottle now that I look.

I think im going to order a 4inch cathode from Newegg and try it out.

Heres a picture of someone who did it with a cold cathode. It looks much better.

No stupid questions. If you saw the green lights in AIM High, those are cathodes. Every team got some in their kit of parts, ask your team to take a look at them.

The only issue I see in you design is you used 2 caps. So to make 1 lamp I have 2 buy 2 drinks. Im a poor man. :p Other than that, It looks really nice.
