If anyone is interested in a used milling machine for a RIDICULOUSLY LOW price, let me know ASAP. This is an ABENE mill made in Sweden, similar to the one shown here. It is 3-phase, so you'd need either 3-phase power or a rotary converter. I haven't seen it, but it is supposedly in decent shape but missing a few components which shouldn't affect the utility. It is 5 H.P., has 3-axis power feed and weighs around 2,800 pounds. I was going to bring it to VA, but would have to have it sent by a trucking company and they want an arm and a leg. Also, I have issues with my shop that I won't get into here.
If you are interested, let me know and we can discuss details. It must be moved very soon. It is at a machinery dealer in Rochester.

Edit: Here (http://www.lathes.co.uk/abene/page3.html)'s a few pictures of something similar.

It's one of the newer models. A guy bought it to get a few parts, specifically the horizontal milling support arm and the cutting fluid pump. I figure you could do light horizontal milling without the arm, and still have a good vertical mill.
I tried to upload a pic, but it seems to want to attach that to a different thread. If you contact me, I can email pics.

If someone is in Rochester, I could probably arrange for you to go look at it during the week. You can email me directly at nnnnnie AT comcast DOT net.
