Well, some kind of PIC board would be nice, but I didn't ask early enough.
My mom is still pretty good at surprising me, so I have no idea what I'll see tomorrow. Could be good or bad. Anyhoo, I've got $400ish in check form that I'm probably going to blow as soon as I can cash them Tuesday. That should be fun. I just might get a vex kit. (looks like that isn't anywhere near enough, and I had a lego nxt on my wishlist, so maybe I'll just skip the vex kit...)
If you have a vex kit, what do you like about it? What have you done with it? I'd think it has pretty much the same capabilities as the Lego Mindstorms stuff does now (the RCX was a piece of garbage, but the NXT is supposed to be much nicer), so I don't know why I'd want a VEX kit over an NXT.
I don't know. I do know that I want and fully expect a huge (with lack of a better word...)buttload of candy. That happens every year; eat way too much candy, get high from sugar, crash into spiral of depression and sugar withdrawal as soon as school gets back in, then back up the rollercoaster hill with kickoff. I LOVE MY LIFE!
Merry Christmas/Happy holidays

My parents are paying for College and just bought me the greatest coat ever so I really don't need much more.
I could use a new coffee mug though.
I hope that everyone has a good Christmas! I hope everyone makes it home safe from wherever they are, wether it be two countries or two blocks best wishes for safe travel!

Merry Christmas All!
Joint present from my parents and an aunt: Nikon Coolpix S7C (http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Nikon-Coolpix-S7c-Digital-Camera/sem/rpsm/oid/159472/catOid/-13062/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do) (which actually cost about 275 after a coupon).
From just my parents I got some normal clothes (a blue hoodie [so I can stay warm at college next year], a sweater, and a polo shirt from Aeropostale), a red dress shirt and tie, and a dvd, most of which I had chosen for myself.
From my brother and his wife, I got a $50 amazon gift certificate.
From my sister and her husband, I got $60 cash and a family gag gift which has been passing around my family for several years now (I might post a picture later).
From Michelle Celio, I got a Ninja Remote (http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/electronic/884f/), Monty Python Killer Rabbit Slippers (http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/plush/8148/) (really comfortable!), and an "I (heart) my geek" t-shirt (http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts/generic/5c89/).

My "big presents" from my parents were a Kodak EasyShare Series 3 photo printer (to go with my Kodak EasyShare Z650 I bought myself for my birthday!) and a $200 American Eagle shopping spree. :) I also got a jewelry box, a sterling silver and marcasite necklace with matching earrings, a spice rack, and a carryall for my scrapbooking stuff.
From my grandma, I got a pair of white gold and tanzanite earrings (to match the white gold, tanzanite, and diamond ring my dad got me for my birthday), a crock pot, some cookbooks, and air-bake cookie sheets.
I won't see my boyfriend until the 5th of January (he's coming to see me and to help me with the 2 KOPs I have to bring back to Houghton/Chassell) so I have no idea what he got for me ... but he promises it's "good"! :)
I got some cash and what not so I'm hopping to get some good deals on stuff tomorrow when I go out to spend them...American Eagle gift card, PacSun gift card, and some cash i'm gonna use on a new stick of RAM, Sirius Satellite radio for my Jeep, and the Hit the Lights! CD.
The best gift I got, was a result of a gift that was given. This year our team organized a Christmas gift drive for a family that is down on their luck. Knowing that we helped make their Christmas special, was the best gift I could have gotten.
I hate to sound like one of those stupid Christmas cliches and be a big downer, but this thread made it feel necessary. Enjoy the gifts you received, but take a bit of time to think of those less fortunate and remember how lucky you all are. There's a lot of people out there who would kill for just one tenth of each have you has received.
Merry Christmas to all of you.
