Why do those inter tubes look orange?

The lighting made every "red" inner tube look orange when the huge bank of lights were on.

They turned those down and it was a little darker then, and they actually started looking red. (And the Vision Targets weren't all washed out by the spotlights as well - which was also a good thing.)

I guess it doesn't matter the true color of the tubes unless you want to try and track them now does it? ;)
