Shortly after Ashley walked into the programming "hut" she understood why there was a "Warning: 1337 h@x0rz 0|\|1'/ " sign outside. As she found out, while programming, most feel no need for personal hygiene, and all the CO2 bubbles from those cases of Mountain Dew have to go somewhere... Oh well, at least she found somewhere soft to land.

And this is a picture of the Ashley species... we don't know much about this species except that it tends to hibernate as winter approaches. And then, suddenly, in early January the species springs to life in a flurry of activity which lasts through April. A strange animal indeed.

"Poppies....poppies...." And as the programming was not complete, not even the newly built tin-man robot was able to break the spell cast by the Wicked Witch who was determined to take Ashley down and claim the Ruby Safety Glasses.

ASSOCIATED PRESS, ATLANTA. Student and robotics engineer Ashley was stunned into collapse by a safety device she built herself just moments after she removed her safety glasses near her robot. Her team mentor said, "Ashley built a device that was supposed to give her a mild shock every time she approached a robot without safety glasses, but I guess she has some more testing to do." Ashley only said, "Not wearning my glasses properly was dumb, but I guess I got a little carried away. Some people would just have lawyers enforce safety rules, but I followed Dave Lavery's suggestion to find an engineering solution." Ashley if fine now, even if she does cause fluorescent bulbs to glow.
