Is it possible to run a mecanum drivetrain without suspension?


Also does anyone have a mecanum drive program I could look at?

Yes, if you can otherwise keep all four wheels on the floor. If you can't achieve that through the natural flex of the frame alone, then you're well-served to find some other means of doing so.

Mecanum wheels work all with diffrent forces and vectors so if one wheel is not on the floor your robot will turn or move in an undesired direction.
Suspension or split frame or any other method is much better than nothing.

Your 100% correct also since your working with a system with not a lot of traction being able to shift center of gravity by using bimbas as suspension would greatly help
