View Full Version : "The Rack" Questions
Im am creating this thread to ask questions and find answers to questions about the rack.
One question i have is does anyone know if the rack is moving or standing still when the game first starts? Because in the 2007 kickoff Human Video the start of the game with the rack moving. this would cause problems for the 15 sec. automonous mode.
After you set up your robot the field reset team will spin the rack into a random position

:confused:It will be problematic anyway because it is shifted/rotated between matches. With the rack weighing about 600 lbs, that would get the spider legs swinging.
My queston is after they place the rack do they set up the legs so that they are standing still and not Shaking Around

I don't think so.

Even if the refs did still the spiders, they'd move as soon as a robot/game piece comes in contact with them.

my wuestion about the rack is: do the numbers on top mean anything?
as in, if i had a tube on number 7,8,1,2 all in a row, is that a row of 4 or is there a cut off?

The numbers do not have any impact on scoring.
