This is a note to all FIRST teams around please PLEASE keep the ringers out of the reach of seniors. As you can see in this video they can be very dangerous.

PS: Well this guy broke the controller board of our last year's bot . . . hopefully the only thing he will break this season is himself.

That's good! I look forward to meeting you at Boilermaker, by which time you really should try to get that guy under control.:D

Apparently he felt that wearing ringers is akin to "being surrounded by safety." :D

If he had 3, you could have rolled him around the room. :)
Edit: Wearing safety glasses.

Thats hilarious, today we had our mentor sit on our ramp system to check it out. We gave him a 50 pound weight and he is not exactly a small man. About 6 foot 3 or 4 270 pounds and watching him get jolted by the system was unbearable without a oxygen mask, i hope ill get the video up very soon

I'm suprised a few kids on my team haven't tried that yet but then again the mentors have tried to hide the ringers from us. lol. most likely to keep us from doing things like that.

See you in Indiana. Good luck.

I don't know what got into me, but it sounded like a good idea at the time. Also don't use a dolly as a skateboard.:ahh:

One of our mentors shocked himself last year when he was connecting the battery. Ironically, this year he gave a speech on electrical safety. :p

Also, the Ringers are NOT lifesaving devices. :p
