Are magnets allowed on robots if they are for locking a pin in place and not in any way for hindering/damaging other robots?

See the flowchart (rule <R48>). My interpretation is that it is legal.

But specific examples like electromagnets used as solenoids or permanent magnets used in custom motors are not allowed. Consult the parts use flowchart in <R48>.
