FIRST has put out a scoring calculator to help teams with their strategy. It's the best one I've seen yet.

Thanks FIRST.

Only one thing, how do you change the color of the rings placed? Because what happens if blue doesnt place all their keepers?

If you click on the same ringer/keeper, it will change the color of it from blue to red. (And then to a spoiler if the autonomous box is unchecked.)

Wow.
Look's nice! This will definitely help us strategize, as well as help us on the field!

Great work!

Anyone know if this is the program FIRST will be using to do live scoring this year? I saw somewhere that the real-time scoring would be done an a handheld computer (Palm Pilot/Pocket PC). I'll see if I can find where I saw that...

Watch out for this one...
When you close the program it does not actually terminate itself. You have to go to the Task Manager and manually delete the process.

I think the scoring device here is really cool and great. That being said I can't imagine bringing something like this as a coach to the field. That most likely is not the intent of the program, but I would like to see a layout that is not a 3 x 8 rectangular grid. There has to be a way to layout the rack two dimensionally that represents the 360* wrap around and which legs are closer to which alliance station. For example, legs 8, 1, and 2 are all facing the blue alliance, but in the 3 x 8 grid there is nothing that shows this.

I'm still interested in seeing someone's program they make for their palm.

I have a palm but have never attempted to make any of my own programs, although I would like to try to load this calculator. Anyone have any suggestions of where I should start (or something to look at?)
