If this picture doesn't kill off the "I am JVN" craze once and for all, nothing will.
Nice robot--2005, I presume? Not that I want to skirt the issue or anything...

Ha, we havnt had one of those pop yet, but id be willing to bet an all girl team wouldnt mind wearing those to a competiton for a little extra spirit. :p
Heck, id even wear one of those to a competition.
This may catch on! :yikes: I can see the teams' school cheerleading squads and dance teams lending support to the coolness of robotics at the next round of pep rallies!
But then again, this photo may scare them completely away! John, you are so cute!:p

Even better question is how did he get it over his hips??? *types this blind*It's actually quite easy. I believe I'm larger than John (size 40 jeans), and I can shoehorn a ringer head to feet. Not especially gracefully or smoothly, but it can be done...and thus, I assume, JVN can do that in his sleep.

Speaking of wearing a tube like this, we figured out that if you havea thiner person on your team, you can sneak up behind them and "tube" them with it. It works really well and makes them stuck for a second because the tube went over their arms. Caution: This does work on any type of person, but the bigger they hard, that harder you have to spike the tube over their head!

Maybe they will wear them to the wedding....*runs and hides

And just for the record, Amanda was the first one to make this fashion statement. JVN stole the idea from her. I am not sure what this means in terms of deciding which one has the worse judgement - Amanda for thinking it up, or John for thinking it was a good idea - but one of them is nuts. Or both. I just want to know if this is a sign that John will be borrowing other items from Amanda's wardrobe. Hmmm. Sounds like a Photoshop opportunity in the making.... :)

I can see this actually happening.
They would say, "I am JVN" no wait "I am Amanda Morrison" no wait....

Dave,
If only I had photoshop because as soon as I read this I had a clear vision of John sneeking into Amanda's closet to steal her Championship medals and parading around the house in them. Anything else just woldn't seem right to bring up here at CD.

I just know that either for real or via Photoshop, at least one of them is going to end up in a wedding dress sooner or later. I think it is up to the Photoshop-enabled members of the FIRST community to decide which one, and how soon. :)
