You can change your portal settings by going to the User CP and clicking on Recent Posts Config. You probably just need to check the box for the CMUcam subforum.

By default, [AFAIK] only General Forum threads show up as recent activity on the portal page. So to change this setting, once you login go to this page (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/recentposts.php?) and check off any forums that you would like to appear. ;)
