Hey guys, we love the freespace, but you've been down all day. Is everything ok?

FIRST Blogs was causing problems. It seemed that the update script went wacky and tried sending about a jillion emails all at once. It filled up MySQL (~4GB) and the CPU (~2000% [sic]).

However, it seems to be back up now.
