Due to some bad calls, the one of the yellow thingy's on our power distribution block got cut in half. Would anybody know where to buy/find a whole one?

While you are looking for the replacement "yellow thingy" (I don't know the official term either, but I know what you are talking about) you can continue to test your chassis by using a length of wire to connect the addidtional block to your existing blocks. I don't know if this is a tech-inspector approved fix, but so long as you use the appropriate gauge wire and have it should be safe.... assuming, of course, that you have enough free space on the distribution block for an additional couple of connection.

Perhaps you are doing this already... I just hate to see teams lose time while waiting for a part.

The part is made by Rockwell Automation and is PN 1492-CJJ12-4. You can find a local distributor at http://www.rockwellautomation.com/distributor. It was about 70 cents from our distributor.

This information and suppliers for most of the kit parts is in the "Tips and Good Practices" document available here: http://www.usfirst.org/WorkArea/linkit.aspx?LinkIdentifier=id&ItemID=4054

Were you able to order them in a quantity less then 20?

Has there been an "official" answer on cutting the yellow jumper down to allow only two red/black blocks to be used, rather than all 8 (since they are not being used?)

Nope, do you need a few?

I haven't seen anything, but it would be very nice if we could buy the 2-pole center jumper (that's what it's called, it's a "Screw Center Jumper, 12mm, 4-pole"). The 2-pole part number is: 1492-CJJ12-2 though it also has a minimum quantity of 20 limitation. If we could buy one of these (cutting the 4-pole doesn't sound like a good idea whatsoever) that would make us so very happy...

TEAM 1566 STILL has extras--I've had them for a while. Let me know, and I'll send you one! (I cut before I should have, and had to order some!)

Team 1126 would be very happy if anyone would be able to ship them a few jumpers. Just PM me if you are able to. Thanks everyone!
