A new version of FIRSTclipse is available.
Error parser works
Beginings of a toolchain based on the new schemas
Update site is now for "stable" releases: http://firstclipse.sourceforge.net/update
Project page (https://sourceforge.net/projects/firstclipse)
A default code project will go up. I'll post here when that happens.
Note: I do not have a "extract & go" version of this due to the fact that my host is down ATM.

An archive of the project is online at http://firstclipse.sourceforge.net/default_2007_firstclipse.zip (118K)
To import:
Open Eclipse and install FIRSTclipse, if you haven't yet
Go to File > Import
Select General > Existing Projects into Workspace; hit Next
Select "Select archive file", and browse to where you downloaded the archive above. Select it.
Press Select All and hit Finish
There will now be a project called "default_2007". This is where the code is. I recomend renaming it, since it won't be the default code for long. ;)
If the project doesn't build immediately, you will need to check Project > Auto build.
Eclipse is featureful. Be sure to just explore the menus, buttons, options, property dialogs, and whatnot to get a feel for it.
If you want to use any of Kevin's code, you should be able to just extract his files into the project folder, on top of the default code.
If you have any problems, contact me or post on here.
Sounds good.
I'm using the older version and loving it, how would I go about updating to the newer?

Oops, I always forget that step. (Darned unix permissions!)
It should work now.
The "stable" release on source forge isn't working for me. It says it is only 612 bytes.

Download it again, then. Both the toolchain and the error parser download fine for me.
The jar file at http://firstclipse.sourceforge.net/update only downloads 612 bytes for me. I've tried this from several directions (using network connections through various routes and using IE and FireFox).
The archive of the project (http://firstclipse.sourceforge.net/d...irstclipse.zip ) worked just fine. I had downloaded the original project, but was having trouble configuring it so I wanted to try the stable release.
Thanks for your help.

Ah.
http://firstclipse.sourceforge.net/update/features/com.astro73.fdt_0.0.3.jar is the feature only. It is not the plugins. http://firstclipse.sourceforge.net/update/ should be given to the Eclipse update manager as a new remote site.
