I'm a bit worried about the position of that robot controller, does it meet the visibility requirements?

It seams that there is a large chunk of unused clear lexan/plexi/whatever above the brain, so visibility requirements should be met just fine.

On the same note as the RC Light visibility issue, is the main breaker accessible enough? To me, it would seem that since the breaker is under a sheet of lexan, it is not easily accessible.

Well, thats really only half of the issue. Making the lights visible is pretty easy, the problem is that they have to be visible from three feet in front of the robot. Depending on your configuration this can be easy or hard, for us this was a problem, as we have a wide turreted arm that stows over the rear and rotates to the front for play, causing some issues. (ie. we had to mount the controller sideways, at an angle and must start on the left side of the field) Luckily, we are behind schedule, so there wasn't a lot on the robot to get in the way of changing the mounting.

Heh, that's nice to hear.

It's hard to say because the Inventor group doesn't work continuously every day, as we're all involved with other aspects of the team, but this probably took a couple days. The only parts we modeled from scratch were the backup battery and the lexan, and the rest were available online (Autodesk Virtual KOP, FIRST CAD Library, and the Vex Inventor model library at Carnegie Mellon (http://www-education.rec.ri.cmu.edu/Extra%20Resources/CAD/VexInventorModels/)).

Last year we ran into the visibility problem. They said it needed to be easily seen and easily accessible. At the competition we ended up cuting the chunk of lexan out, proping it up, and just having it somewhat sitting over everything.
