Here is some information on the gearboxes.

-Ball bearing shifter
-It uses 3 bearing to lock in gear
-The gears have 6 holes in them to allow faster shifting
-2.7 ft/sec on low
-13 ft/sec on high
-16 pitch gears for low, 20 pitch for high
-Weight w/o motors is about 3.8 lbs

;) The difference is a lot but we chose it that way for strategy purposes.

not nylon, UHMW, our sponser stocks the stuff like crazy so we got some 4" stock and we just machine it to the hub patter we want, we used it last year also and we have never broken 1
