i need soom help on making joysticks or modifying the KOP joysticks to be ambidexterous (and they must have two buttons each)
do you have a stereolithography machine? if you do, you can draw up the custom sticks on inventor and print them out.

how on earth do you expect a FIRST team (or a high school) to have a stereolithography machine

well, we have a stereography machine. Not meaning to brag, however it is a great way to manufacture those joysticks. Maybe see if there are any companies in the area who has one and could manufacture some sticks for you.

Your best bet is probably to just use any ordinary part that is cylindrical, like screwdriver heads, or just something lathed like these (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/photos/20609). Of course, it will be very difficult if you want triggers and the top button, because you'll need it to be hollow, but you could easily mount the same switches somewhere else on your OI and have them accessible.
Another way is to get another controller...

Here's (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50683) a thread with information on them, including a picture of the fabrication drawing.
