Robot will operate without uploading team number?

Will the FRC respond to an OI without having the team number uploaded to it.

Because for the moment, our FRC does respond but the signal keeps breaking up. My guess is that the team number wasn't properly uploaded to the FRC. Is this the issue? Should the FRC respond at all if the team number wasn't uploaded?

Your robot should still operate but you actually need to have your team number on the OI to pass inspection at competition.

When in doubt, use the tether cable. Set the team number as instructed in the IFI documentation and see if the tether works as expected. Once that is functional, then try the radio link.
