I enjoy looking at other robot videos, so I am putting out our robot to view.

Here is our 1 minute video of various runs of the autonomous mode of our 2007 robot.

Great Autonomous! What do you use the CMU Cam or some other sensors.

We totally use the CMUcam. We also had IRs and sonic ready just incase but ended up not needing it.

Wow I'm really impressed with the speed and consistency of your autonomous modes. You guys did a fantastic job, as can be expected from your excellent showing as a rookie team last year. Congrats on a job well done!

Thanks. I do have videos of failures also. Lot of those on the way. But as we tested our various postions and various auto mode options I think we did 10+ or so in row with no failure.

We will see at the actual contest.

Great Video Doug, and great job this year on getting all that new fangled fancy schmansy programming stuff to work.

We couldn't have done this years autonomous without hardware guys giving us a robot a week to work on.

So thanks Dan and team!!!!!

Well done. It's always great to see a good program work well - you can't see how a program is going to turn out just by looking at it, like you can with a mechanical object (sorta.)

all you have to do now is score a keeper and a ringer in autonomous.

all you have to do now is score a keeper and a ringer in autonomous.

We actually thought of doing two keepers. If you can do the 1st in 5 secs, turn around and get your partners in 5 secs and do the next one in 5 secs. But it was too hard and decided against trying.

We are planning another option, not talking about it, we will see if that works.

I believe the term for this autonomous would clearly be

"more bacon than the pan can handle."

Good work, I sure hope we have a match together.

ah...so that is what our autonomous should do? hmmm I tried everything to get it to work doug. I kicked the robot, I yelled at it, but nothing seemed to work. Did you give your bot bacon? I probably should have thought of that.

Finishing a robot a week before shipping. What a concept.
