I found out yesterday I will be coming up there to help out 1369. I suppose that means I need to come up with a Minotaur chant since I won't be able to Oink with my team not there. Lol. I'm looking forward to a fun regional! :)

Does anyone know why the webcast for Peachtree isn't up yet? Are they just going to put it up for qualification and elimination matches?

I had the same question about the web cast

It is strange that it's not in the NASA website since it is a NASA Regional

I was looking forward to doing a little scouting over the web for Palmetto and cheering on for my good friends of 845

Wow! This is the first time that I've seen PVC as part of the main mechanism and that is not a good thing. (Tubes slipping out.)

What about the controllers everyone's using!!
Walking around the pits i have seen a ton of xbox 360 controllers...

Also the RoboLions (team 1261) is using a Guitar Hero controller to control their robot!

WHY AM I NOT AT PEACHTREE ?!?!?!

I dunno about that but him & Sir Charles said a box of donutsfor filling the whole top level...

Is it just for the top level? I thought it was for any whole level...O well I guess I will just have to pay to get fat.

Oh man. I really hope Sir Charles is going to like what we are doing for him tomorrow.
We are making these huge posters with all his old catch phrases. And we are also having signs up saying we love him.
In short, we are at ptree and Sir Charles is the MAN.
If anyone needs any help, let us know.
another thing is, I didnt think the scoring would be this high at ptree. It seemed that overall, ptree has higher scores.

^^ Alliance partners....1746 and 1057, you guys are awesome. We did great in the quarterfinals, but just couldnt hold it together in the semis. Oh well, we look forward to seeing you both next year.

yeah that was a sweet match...

Thanks to Otto and 1057 for being there for us and all of the teams. This was a great experience and I know that I will be returning to this competition for as long as I can. :)

our alliance (1127 and 1369) got a row of 8 on the bottom in one match. i think it was the highest score of the day (260).

That wasn't our match...We were blue, one of the tubes was a keeper, and we had another tube on the middle level to get the other 4 points to make it 260... I'm not sure what match that was, or who was in it. I think it was probably a qualifying match though.

That was the last match of the 1st seed / 8th seed quarterfinals.

Unfortunately, the 260 was one of our semifinal matches (and we were the other alliance :( )

I would like to thank 281 and 1398 for our short but fun run in the eliminations.

Also congratulations to 1127/1369/1848 for winning the regional. It will be fun seeing ya'll at nationals again. Also congratulations to 1848 for playing the best defense on us out of the whole competition.

No, that was our (1746, 1261, and 1057) second quarterfinals round. It was the first full 8 scored (1848's was a couple matches later), and the blue alliance got a 15-point lift bonus, for a final score of 256-15. Sure was an exciting match....1746 and us scored the last two ringers at the exact same time: with about two seconds left :)

I believe 1369 surprised everyone with a working autonomous in the finals. You could thank our programmers with the deadly arm dance in previous matches. I couldn't believe they pulled it off in the first match of finals. Other then that thanks and good job to 1127, 1539, and 1848 for literally pushing the alliance to the top of the Peachtree.

Btw, Does anybody have a picture of the scoreboard of that 260-0 match?

1848 definitely extends a huge thanks to your programmers and your entire team. I have to say autonomous period throughout eliminations was so exciting, waiting to see if you guys would track the light and get the keeper on. It seemed like every match the lights were just getting a little bit farther away than the previous match.

I had a blast up there this weekend. Definitely was worth the trip up there over spring break. Congrats to 1369 and their partners, I'm really happy for your victory, you guys made quite a showing.

I also wanted to extend a congrats to team 1611, the entire team worked nonstop throughout the regional and I was incredibly impressed by both the mentors and the students hard work. It was amazing getting to watch those guys and gals do their thing.

Alright, I've got a request.

This year in particular, there was a pretty good overlap between the rosters for Peachtree and Palmetto. My data indicates 281, 538, 845, 1051, 1102, 1287, 1369, 1398, 1539, 1746, and 1758 are going to both. Of those, I currently know of pictures for 538 (though a clearer one wouldn't hurt), 1369, and 1746. If you've got any of the others, I'd love to see 'em on CD-Media. (Or your choice of photo uploading service, I'm not picky.)

(And if you post a link here (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?p=601210#post601210), you'll be declared officially awesome.)

Actually, they only have the awards from Saturday, not any from Friday, like Innovation in Control, Driving Tomorrow's Technology, etc.

But yeah I'd like to see the matches up as well.
