Popular tech site Gizmodo (http://www.gizmodo.com/) just posted a short article about FIRST robotics competitions at their site.
Apparently they sent a reporter over to the NYC regional in the Javits Center this weekend and the reporter was quite impressed, noting, "These kids are totally awesome, and you can't help but feel excited about the future when you've got geniuses like this lined up to run the world."
