If 675 goes to the Nationals, probably just our pins. We have like a million designs (Shillileagh, "DO NOT PRESS", "Do A Barrel Roll!", the "Pac-man", "Glory Will Come", etc).

so guys, who's bringing what to championship/regionals? Team #1002, The CircuitRunners are giving away cell phones so everyone can join our network. We gave away over 100 at the VCU Regional and Peachtree Regional.

Ahh, Roboticist identification tags. Just because we can design and build a bot that performs a specific task in 6 weeks doesn't mean we know how to navigate our home towns.

A very thoughtful idea, I think I might look into getting some for our team so people know where to return us to if we're lost. ;)

-Buttons... We made 1000 this year.
-Team 100 arm bands (like the popular "LiveStrong" bands) They are one of the few give-aways I have ever seen being worn outside of a FIRST event.

We also are giving away "tool tags," that have your teams' number (and color) on them. We gave many away at SVR. Lots of people liked them, but I'm not sure how many got used...

We used them on our own tools so nothing would get lost. They were a lot of work so I'd like to hear your reactions.

Well, I was trying to be humorous by saying that roboticists get lost easily, but I musnt've worded it right or something.

I'm too tired to be trying to make intellectual and witty remarks. Just disregard me for the time being.

Oh, by the way, do you guys have any larger wristbands? The one I got just barely fit on my wrist (I had like, nanometers of slack) so I gave it to a buddy of mine, but if you have larger ones, I'd love to snatch one at Davis.

Tool-tags? I didn't see those -- I must've been cheering or something else (like scouting-kinda, checking up on the bot, etc). Can you post a picture?

Those Gearhead mousepads (circa 2001-02) were great, but mine is beginning to show some wear. [Hint, Hint!] :D

MOE 365 will have ear plugs - those who are old like me appreciate them. We also have a variety of noteworthy buttons, shown in the animated gifs shown here.

I met 2 members from FRC Team 1108 from Paola, Kansas, who had come to Atlanta to volunteer. I was wearing the pin one of their members had given me in 2003 - a beautiful wooden pin. They brought me their 2007 pin as a gift on Friday. It is just as beautiful. Thank you Panthers!
