I just got a new laptop which runs windows 2000. I downloaded the latest version of the Stamp software (1.1) which says it runs for NT 4.0. Anyone try programming their robot with it in Win2k?
It runs fine now, I just want to make sure it will actually program the robot tommorow, when I need it ;)

I haven't used it on Win2k yet, but in theory it should work. It's a dos based programmer, that's why FIRST likes it so much. The most basic computer can use it. If that version doesn't work, try getting the basic dos version of it. It was on the CD, I don't know if you can get it from the site.

The stamp software version 1.1 worked fine, as soon as I remembered to disable the hotsync software for my palm ;)

We ran into the same problem during build season. It took us way too long to figure out what was tying up the port.

I run it just fine on my 2k laptop, downloads and all.
You shouldn't have a problem
2k is such an improvement over NT for laptops!!
