What kind of content should i have for a private members section of my teams site? I don't honestly have any ideas.

You can use it to post/archive bulletins and important emails, travel info, team requirements, budget status, etc.

you could add blogs were different teams could talk or my have a calander which everyone can access to add important dates and time (may be it could tell every one about your teams plan appearences/ others.)

You could use it as a place from which members could upload and download files that will be needed through the season (flyers, travel information, CAD drawings, etc).

We have a section for each sub team...mechanical, electrical, software, strategy, animation, scouting, promotions,, firmware, playing field, pit crew and drive team, semester projects, Wildstang discussion, marketing, yearbook, video, Hall of Fame, Wildstang announcements, and mentor and moderator forums. Add what you think you need for team operation. We use the forums for team members to check in, take assignments and report if they can attend meetings. There is also general announcements section for members and we even allow sections for teams that we mentor to have an area until they can get their own forum started.
