My intent of this thread is to gather information for as many robots as we can for everyone to benefit from.
Please try to keep chatter and discussion to a minimum, just robot information please.

Arm:
high jointed arm which reaches all three spider legs

Gripper:
Roller gripper with top and bottom rollers independently powered to allow tube pickup, rotation (over 270 degrees), and release.
2 position pneumatic wristto allow tube pickup, and tube "stowing"

Ramps:
Two fold out ramps that allow two robots to raise themselves 13.5" from the playing field surface, these have never been climbed in competition

Drivetrain:
4 small CIMs with 4 BaneBots 56mm planetary gearboxes
AndyMark Mecanum wheels
ground clearance > 3" (more like 4ish)

Can climb ramps the wide way only (requires around 36" of ramp width)
Plays WICKED defense (have prevented high scoring teams that usually score 5-6 in a match from scoring at all). The mecanum helps with this.
Fast. Not sure on measurements in ft/s, but I can get this info and edit it in later.

Ramp:
1 ramp with extended platform of over 12 ft.
Ramp at 14.5" No chance of loss of points due to sag
Requires 2" of clearance minimum to climb
Has side rails to prevent driving off of ramp/platform
Has been climbed numerous times in competitions, including by high scoring teams like 25.

So in short, a large aircraft carrier with a wicked defense and mecanum. We can EASILY hold 2 bots (we have actually fit 3 at 14.5", and 1 partly up the ramp at 4" :p ... but thats besides the point. Our highest score in a match was 316, and we were AGAINST one of the winners of the philly regional!

This post might make our robot sound not so great but I wanted to give you guys facts, not hopes and dreams. Not sure how we'll do on the grand stage but I guess we'll see. I would probably pick us in the second round of choosing partners as of right now. However, we may move up to a top pick once the new gripper is installed.

Grabs tubes from outside, strong grip and allows for a lot of missallignment

Autonomous:
Dead-reckoning/Prep for pickup

Strengths:
Drivetrain can climb any ramp out there.
Can Score Quickly.
Rarely Drops tubes.
Great Defense.
Can put our open grabber over a spoiled spider leg to keep it from being despoiled (sounds weird, but this may prove useful)

We are looking to be a versatile 3rd pick. We can round out any alliance, we can play great defense if that is what is needed, or can pitch in on offense/protetcting a main scorer.

Lifts --

Two independently released and actuated lifting mechanisms (for good reason that we'll tell you about when we work with you)
"Buzzer Lift"-capable -- requires approximately one second to release lifts before buzzer sounds
Independent lifting action allows us to lift one robot or two with no effect on performance and to do so at different times. Lifts react against floor, not our robot and are supported along their entire ~4 ft. length.
Will not tip (in play, at the end, with robots on it, without robots on it. If you manage a way to tip this robot over, I'll give you a dollar. If you do it on purpose, I won't give you the dollar, however.)
Large lifting surface of 38x44" on each lift -- accepts wide- and narrow-bodied robots and flop-down robots. As long as your center of gravity is over the white of our lifts, we will lift you.
Front-facing entry for last minute access -- there's no need for teams to enter the home zone, turn 90* and line themselves up with a narrow ramp as with most machines. Simply drive forward or backward onto our lifts.
If you move, we will lift you. Seriously. I know Jeff wants honesty and this is it. If you can't move, come find me and I'll help you fix it.
Hard stop at back of lifts that allow bumpers and frame to overrun our platforms while still stopping wheels.

4 Bar linkage with gas strut stabilizer, Easily Controllable and caps over many 4ft. robots. Controlled by designated presets and modified positioning with a joystick.

Simple Claw Mechanism actuated by Globe Motor, very reliable and holds tubes well.

Points of success
Devestating scorer when left open. ( With matches with light defense caps 6-10 tubes ) With 1 -2 defenders our average drops to 4.25, 4.7 if you don't count a match where we flipped. (Vegas Average not sure about Florida )

Gripper good, but could be better, occasionally hard to get tubes while under defense.

Reliable, Reliable, Reliable. Never Missed nor broke in a match ( Knock on Wood )

Points of Needed Improvement:
Play best on near side of the field, the other side seems sometimes out of our realm.We need to get better on the other side.
Avoiding heavier low robot defenders rather than trying to always power through them.

Overall Assesment:
Good robot but have some weaknesses, it will be interesting to see how the match algerithm works at champs. Most say we can't play through defense and our performance does suffer under defense. At vegas we averaged ~ 4.25 caps a match and atleast 1 robot on defense per match. We had one match without constant defense ( just intermittant 1 defender vrs 2 good cappers ) in which we put up 8 tubes. ( 1 keeper 6 ringers 1 spoiler )
