I literally just finished packing. Clothes for 5 days, medical supplies (I had surgery yesterday morning and have to follow through with some medical procedures (soaking my feet)), hygiene products, two books, two iPods (2gb nano for better battery life, 40gb 4th gen for more music), headphones, one pin (1359 pin, to hold a flap in one of my bags back), 8 AA batteries (I take lots of pictures), and my camera.

I'm probably going to go put them in the car so tomorrow morning (at 4am) I don't have to worry about finding my bags around my house.

Don't worry about it. I leave in about a half hour and haven't packed yet. Of course it only takes me about 5 minutes to pack everything I need.

How often do you forget things? I forgot my tripod when we went to Chicago, and I paid dearly for it... I'll probably end up forgetting something significant. I'll even make a checklist and forget things on their sometimes.

this year we got to pack the vex robot in with the luggage...which then became overweight so I shuffled stuff around into another suitcase.

I'm travelling light this time, my laptop bag only has the laptop (an old Dell L400 that's pretty small), charger, wireless card, ipod and cable, digital camera and battery and SD-USB adapter, a couple usb drives, headphones, book, get lost on MARTA map, etc.

and plane tickets

edit: and gameboy (http://www.selectric.org/gameboy/assemblage.jpg) SP, because it's smaller than the gameboy color and way smaller than the really old gameboy

Depends on what time it is where you are. It's 1300 here, I leave at 0430 to go to the airport, and leave SFO at 0900.

Let's see...

-Clothes for all three days, plus spares
-One nicer-than-average change of clothes, if I've got space
-Toothbrush, toothpaste, shaver, shampoo, soap
-Ear plugs (you laugh, but they really help!)
-iPod (because eight hours driving round-trip without music is just....awful!)
-Aspirin (you never know...)
-Roll of duct tape (in case I have to make any more Fresca manpurses (http://billfredrevival.blogspot.com/2007/04/fresca-manpurse.html))
-Fresca (for outside the Dome only, of course)
-Camera (PowerShot A620, with the obligatory extra memory)
-Batteries (AAs, quantity As Many As I Can Find)
-iBook
-Safety glasses (because I've never been able to wear FIRST's comfortably)
-My Gracious Professionalism (if for no other reason than to awkwardly shout out "YES!!!" when I pass the sign)

Of course, I have to cram all of this into my suitcase first--none of it currently is packed. (And it'll have to wait until after the 10-page paper.)

Before I can leave for Atlanta.....

I still have to pack
I have to take a Calculus final
I have to find my brother an apartment
I have to decide if I am going to prom
I have to find a date to prom (school, not atlanta)
I have to confirm restaurant reservations for the team
I have to do a little more pre-scouting
I have to brainstorm about how to win Baker's challenge
(http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56022&highlight=baker)

I have 19 hours to do it all.... any bets as to whether or not I can do it all?:D

All packed except for the last minute things I have to throw in tomorrow because I still need them tonight. Besides clothes and cleaning supplies (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.) I've packed buttons (sorry Dave), a deck of cards, my math book and homework, a hairbrush, camera, snacks for the bus, chapstick, safety goggles, my two tickects for the CD web-hug raffle, an umbrella, a book to read, my cell phone, all of the papers that go with being a chaperone, and since I've read this thread, I've added a blanket and a pillow. I think I'm ready. I know I'll forget something. But I have until 12:30 p.m. tomorrow to try to remember it.

I see no reason to sleep on the floor.

Four 675 members were in the same room (all guys, it was myself, our drivetrain leader, our electrical guy, and our cook) with only two beds, so we just went two to a bed.

Nobody slept under the covers, and each person was on their own side of the bed. Besides, when you're asleep, it doesn't really matter.

Oh, and hotel floors are really comfortable.

Due to the 15th being a Sunday and Monday being Emancipation Day in Washington D.C., the tax deadline has been pushed back (http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=167194,00.html)to April 17th to just further encourage procrastinators like me. :yikes:

I'm not packed anymore! =D
