I would advise you to check into the numerous off season events that will happen this year, a few that i can list off my head are PARC X (http://www.tigertrons.com/2007/parc/parc.htm), Monty Madness (http://www.montymadness.org/), Beantown Blitz (http://www.nutrons.neu.edu/btb/), Brunswick Eruption (http://www.geocities.com/brunswick_eruption/BrunswickEruption.html), Ramp Riot (http://www.team341.com/rampriot/generalinfo.html), there are many more, you can check CD Events (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/event/list?) if you are interested, however in terms of Exhibitions such as NEXTfest... as far as i know there are none at the moment in our area.
