National Orange and Maroon Effect Friday

There is an Virginia Tech alumni-lead declaration for a national Orange and Maroon effect day. Show your support for the Virginia Tech community and proudly display your finest orange and maroon.

As an alumn myself and a six year member of Team 401 I couldn't pry myself away from the tv and dedicated the past few days to calling friends and former students of mine. As someone who has spent six years at VT, I consider it my home and everyone there family. I and the rest of the country will not forget you.

every friday is Solid Orange day in Clemson, and this week, the university made it orange and maroon day. so all i have to do is find some maroon. but i think it is a cool thing to do, and a great way to show support.

I just saw this, was going to post it here because I knew it would be taken seriously at a board like CD. I will definitely be sporting an orange shirt (the only one I can find) and passing this info on to everyone I know.
