Robotics Participation.

Does your FIRST team participate in any other robotics organizations?
By participate I mean help at an event, volunteer at competitions, mentor students, compete, et cetera. Just out of curiosity.

Everything our team does is related to FIRST. We help out with LEGO teams and have a VEX team, but that is all FIRST related. No participation outside of that.

We used to do BEST until our local competition ceased to exist.
A few years ago our team participated in the IEEE robotics competition.
And in December we participated in a small Robot Wars competition at FAU.
I wish there were more...

FIRST-Related:Besides FRC, we are working with a few FLL teams and are working on getting some Vex stuff started up.

we arent competing in another challenge, but (we were trying this year) next year we're going to host a lego robotics challenge to gr 7 and 8 students in our area. we are also the only robotics team in out entire region, so we want to promote FIRST in our area.

it wont happen next year, but i also want to compete in the Skills Canada robotics competition.
